VEDIC Centre of Excellence for Skill and Entrepreneurship Development is envisaged to be State of the Art Centre for basic skilling and capacity building of students, youths, junior professionals, retired personnel, and anybody who has a keen interest in upgrading their skills in the field of Aerospace and Defence technology.
Primary purpose of setting-up of VEDIC:
To utilize state-of-art infrastructure for carefully designed and integrated set of educational programs, entrepreneurship development components, collaborative concepts, and support services to select and train youth, women, and unemployed or underemployed youth to become a new generation of skilled workers cum entrepreneurs and community builders.

Centre of Excellence Concept & Structure
VEDIC Centre of Excellence (COE) for Skill and entrepreneurship development is envisaged to be State of the Art Centre for basic skilling and capacity building of students, youths, junior professionals, retired personals and anybody who has keen interest to upgrade their skills in the field of Aerospace and Defence technology.
Trainees at VEDIC , on completion of the training will be capable of starting and operating modern, small scale enterprises and workers cooperatives that will generate substantial number of new jobs and income generating activities and creating skilled manpower in the field of manufacturing primarily, aerospace & defence and research activities.
VEDIC Desired Outcome :
- VEDIC aims to train minimum 40,000 persons in 5yrs. through OJT to generate industry ready workforce to absorb the emerging opportunities in Aerospace & Defence Manufacturing.
- Training Modules certified by Industry and recommended by NSDC.
- Engagement with Industry Experts in the region to impart Training at VEDIC.
- Engagement at Common platform with Academia-Industry thus kickstarting the virtuous cycle of Innovation at Industrial scale.
- Access to world class State-of-Art Designing and Prototyping Facilities at VEDIC.
